Driving With Uber Can Lead You Down A New Avenue Of Income

Full disclosure: Uber compensates us for driver leads.

Money makes the world go ‘round. Even with a full-time job, it can be difficult to make ends meet. That’s why we’re here to tell you about all the great opportunities Uber has to offer.

You’ve heard of Uber, right? It’s the convenient ride-request app that gets you where you need to be, without the hassle of calling a taxi. But, did you know you could make money driving for Uber yourself?

While your mileage may vary depending on where you live, these are the basic requirements you’ll need to meet before getting in gear.

  • You must be 21 years of age.
  • Have at least one year of licensed driving experience in the U.S. (or three years if you are under 23 years old).
  • Have a valid U.S. Driver’s license
  • Be able to show proof of vehicle registration
  • Be able to show proof of Auto Insurance
  • And use an eligible four-door vehicle.

Does waiting until payday always seem like a marathon you’re not sure you can finish? When you drive with Uber, you can make any day payday. With Instant Pay your earnings are available to you immediately! Better yet, you can cash out up to five times a day! If you’re worried the transfer process will take all day, rest assured that in most cases you’ll receive the money in your debit account straight away. That said, some banks can take up to a few days.

When you partner with Uber, you get a fare for the rides you complete. When things get busy, fares are elevated due to higher demand for drivers. Since riders have the option to dip drivers, you might make even more.

Consider also, Uber Eats! In addition to regular Uber duties, you have an additional opportunity to make money as a Delivery Partner. Deliver food from various restaurants in your area to hunger Eaters. The requirements are a little different to become a Delivery Partner, though. For instance, you have to be at least 19 years old and depending on your region, you may be able to use a bicycle or scooter.

Don’t panic! If you don’t have wheels of your own, you may qualify for the Uber Vehicle Solution Program. You may be able to rent a car on a weekly basis! You don’t need to worry about mileage restrictions either, even when you aren’t using the app.

Robert, who works in our offices, was an Uber Partner himself. When asked how he felt about the decision he said, “I had a great experience driving for Uber. The extra money I made really helped me out during a tough time. The ability to work only and all of the hours I wanted was a key reason I looked to Uber.”

So, what are you waiting for? Get started! You’re so close to getting on the road and embracing a new opportunity. Sign up to drive. Be sure to have all the documentation you need on hand.
